Sweetree Korean Restaurant, Ampang

Salam pembuka bicara.

Ever heard of the name Sweetree? Actually cerita ni dah basi, tapi sebab memang menarik makan dekat sini so kena cerita jugak. hehe. If u gais suka makanan korea, then this is one place worth trying for. Ni bukan takat level level seoul garden tu, ni level makan pancake sayur tau. Hahaha

We ordered 

1) Deobeokki (Rice Cake)

2) Bibimbap (Mixed Rice)

3) Bulgogi with rice (Rice served with meat)

4) Kimchi, Corn, Sausage (Side Dishes)

5) Vege Pancake (tak ingat nama korea dia apa)

It is safe to say semua makanan yang kami order taste goooooood. Walaupun tekak ni tekak melayu, but their food is quite good, ok. But i have to say, you need to open up your mind sikit la sebab dah nama pun makanan korea, jadinya ada taste dia a bit different to our pallete here and there. Diorang memang suka manis dalam masakan. Tapi yang kitorang order memang semua nya masuk la kat tekak ni. Hehe. Pancake dia sedap. Bibimbap pon ok. Kimchi lagi lah masam, rasa jeruk kan. But it was all goooood hamboihh gitu. Hehe

Back to school

Alhamdulillah its already the second week of the second semester. Haha baru second week dah gelabah. Heh. Actually i wanna write a post last week but i forgot about it. So here it is. Nothing much actually. Just wanna share what i baked during my first semester break at home. Hehe. Here are the recipes :)

No Bake Oreo Cheesecake

Got Rev Velvet cake and brownies on the list tapi tak update resipi pulak. Haha. Yang tu later lah kot update. Hehe. You guys can also browse other recipes. Mostly banyak pastries sebab senang sikit. Hahaha :P

No Bake Oreo Cheesecake

Assalamualaikum. 

Last 2 days i tried out this one recipe. Sebenarnya recipe ni buat sendiri, i mean adapt recipe lain, jadi perasa lain. Hahaha. I took the recipe of Lemon Cheesecake. The one that doesnt need to be baked. It is super easy! Hehe nak buat lemon cheesecake tu macam boring sebab haritu dah buat dah. Mulut ni teringin je nak makan oreo pulak. Haha ngade ngade betul. Share kat ig ramai pulak yang bertanya nak recipe. Actually malu nak share sebab aku rasa biasa je. Macam manis ada la. (poyo) Tp lepas mak approved cakap sedap so macam yakin la sikit nak share. Hahahahaha (double poyo) So here it is the recipe :)

A packet of Oreo cookies, about 175gm

2tbsp of butter

250gm creamcheese

150gm condensed milk/susu pekat

1. 8pcs oreo, separate the cream form the bicuits, crushed finely, boleh jugak masuk blender je, then mix well with the melted butter. Pastu padatkan kat base acuan macam ni. Left to chill in the fridge.

2. Sementara tu buat filling dia, beat the creamcheese pastu masukkan susu pekat, then masukkan lebihan biskut tadi

3. Okay once mixed boleh curah je dalam base biskut tadi :) let chill in the freezer semalaman

Then tadaaaaaaaaaaa :P

Molten Centered Chocolate CUPCAKES

Assalamualaikum. :)

As per picture above, ni nak share recipe cupcakes which have molten centred chocolate. Sebenarnya dia macam muffin yang ada coklat cair kat tengah. Tapi original recipe katanya cupcake, but for me they look more like muffins right? Hehe anyway, jom cubaaa

Ingredients are:

55gm margerine
55gm castor sugar
85gm self raising flour
Vanilla essence
1 biji telur
1 tbsp serbuk koko
A bar of chocolate

1. Pre heat oven at 175 C,

2. Okay actually senang je, campurkan semua bahan bahan kat atas ni then pukul je dalam mixer. Then, voila~ dapat la chocolate bater macam kat bawah ni. Wahaha

3. The trick is when to put them in the tray. Mula pour half, then letak a piece of chocolate bar, then letak lagi half. Macam dalam gambar kat bawah niii

Actually bater ni boleh cukup 8 bii cupcakes, tapi macam kecik kecik je. Kalau nak overflow and nampak macam full of love, boleh letak bater tu banyak sikit dalam setiap acuan kat atas ni. heheh

 Then bake for about 20 minutes or until done! :)

Food galoreeee

Assalamualaikum. Actually ive been busy studying (no, seriously) till got no time to update my blog. Anyway better for me right i should have study right now instead of updating my blog. Hahaha

You know to study human resource management subject not really my thang. It involves a lot (im saying it again a looooottt) of reading. And theories. And facts. Hmm bosan bosan nak le jugak update entri. Hahaha. Another two days until the paper. Last one coming along on Friday. 

Actually this entry suppose to describe about the foods I ate went i was in Leeds and Dubai. But the thing is, takde lah galore mana. Makanan biasa biasa je. Sb kat Leeds susah sikit nak dapat makanan halal. So the best steps are to go to restaurants of Pakistani's and such, and also buying food that labelled vegetarian on it. 

So the first night when we were in Leeds we ate Lamd Donner! oh this is the first time for me eating this and hearing the name donner. Tapi kat sana common je. Its lamb shredded and can be eaten with capati. Plus side dish of fires. Hehe

The next day we ate fish and chips! aww teringin sangat nak makan fish and chips masa jejak kat sini. Dont know why. But its good though. Ikan dia besar. Biasala meal orang putih mesti la besar. Hehe

The next day while me, my brother and his wife waiting in the cafe for my siss graduation ceremony, we ate toast and toast with egg. Itu je yang cam vegetarian. Hihih

Haa yang ni menarik sikit, fish and chips with mushy peas. Eh sebenarnya peas dia tawar je. Kena bubuh garam. Haha 

I got a lot of lamb in my stomach when i was there. This is a lamb meal too. Tapi tak ingat nama apa. Macam rendang rendang. Ahh bestnya kalau dapat sekarang *lapar*

Hmm atas ni pun kambing jugak. Hahahaha sorry lah ye perut ni memang suka daging and especially lamb. Wahaha First time sebenarnya makan nasi goreng kambing. And it was superb. Wah giteewww :P

The ones above are nasi goreng and mee hong kong katanya. Hmm dah nama pun melayu, lidah pun melayu jugak. Haha actually kedai ni kat Dubai Mall punya foodcourt. Tapi makanan dia mahal nak mampus. Tapi makan je la bukan selalu. Hikhik

This is just a brief of what i ate during my travelling days to Leeds and Dubai. Most of our breakfast makan maggi jugak. Wahahaha

p/s: should have updated about food galore in Istanbul before. Hmm nevermind

Durian Cupcakes

Assalamualaikum :)

Harini ada banyak sangat durian kat rumah, so sebab terlebih rajin buat lah durian cupcakes ni. Orang lain tengah kelam kabut ngan Durian Crepe, kita keep calm and bake Durian cupcakes instead okayy. Haha

Bater dia sama je macam resipi cupcake lain dalam blog ni, macam Banana cupcakes tu. Kali ni guna durian instead of pisang :)

225 gm self raising flour

225 gm gula

225 gm butter

4 biji telur

1ts baking powder

vanilla essence

Durian (ikut kesukaan banyak mana hihi)

As usual, beat the butter and sugar together until they mixed well and kembang. Then masuk kan telur one by one and beat lagi sampai kembang. Add the vanilla essence and quarter of the durian. Durian actually boleh je letak semua and beat pakai beater, sebab kalau nak durian tu cam halus boleh beat sekali masa ni. Kalau tak boleh kaup balikkan time dengan tepung nanti :) macam mine yg selebihnya dp quarter td gaul pakai tangan je selang selikan dengan tepung. Hihi

 Dont forget to pre heat the oven to 175 degrees. Bake for about 20 mins :)

Assalamualaikum to all the loyal readers. kalau ada readers lah kan. kena lah jawab. ekeke

petang ni rasa sedih sebab now im left alone in the empty house. everybody closest to my heart went back to their homes already. sedih. sedih sebab berpisah. :')

before that, last week we all ada buat a little gathering party sebelum bercuti ke kampung masing masing for good. lokasi pilihan adalah Seoul Garden, sebab dah lama mengidam agaknya budak2 ni. haha ;)

malas nak cakap banyak, semua orang bangun pagi tu badan sengal sengal (eh ke aku je) haha tu la badan aku macam sedikit cramping la sebab over dua tahu tak main boling. badan terkejut agaknya. hehehehe

thennnnnn lepas tu nak gigih lagi kitorang pergi tengok wayang pula. wah wah. tapi ku n naqi tak ikut sebab nak tengok Sipderman tapi screen time dia lambat sangat so pastu kitorang lepak aje kat Starbucks. okay aku memang jakun sebab rasanya macam first time pergi situ. serius. lantakla kan nak cakap aku kampung ke apa, janji dapat discount and free samples. hahaha!

Alhamdulillah :) harap harap lepas ni insyallah panjang umur, moga kita dapat bertemu lagi. harap sangat. if whoever korang yang terbaca entry ni, kahwin nanti jangan lupa jemput tau. teringin nak makan nasi minyak korang ni. ehhehe

Buttercream

Assalamualaikum

semalam aku try buat buttercream topping for cupcakes tu. and and it turned out like this 

i dunno what to say! HAHA

actually it was abit lembik and was it suppose to be chilled first before we eat it? emm. anyway, okay lah kot kan untuk first try. siap guna piping bag lagi. kekok sungguh. hahaha. tengoklah design tu. ada yang tak jadi. tapi yang satu kat atas tu memang konon nak buat design bunga ros. he he

senang je nak buat, guna butter, icing sugar, sedikit vanilla essence and sedikit susu.

btw, aku buat ni untuk bagi kat Fida. she is one of my closest friend and it was her birthday the other day. and aku taktahu nak bagi apa. so i just made her these. sweet kan? tolong la cakap sweet. HAHAHA

p/s: to my housemate, kalau nak rasa ada lagi dalam peti ais tu, haritu dah offer tapi korang tak perasan kot. hehe

Island BBQ Steamboat, Kg Melayu Subang

Assalamualaikum. happy day! hehe sebab kali ni nak update pasal makan lagi. wehuuu! *clap clap*

last Thursday actually me and naqi ada pergi makan makan sikit but then tak dan (sempat) nak update. sebab balik tu dah kekenyangan and tangguh tangguh then sampai tadi baru teringat balik. hiks!

korang pernah dengar tak steamboat yang famous kat Kg Melayu Subang tu? haaa kat sini lah kitorang p haritu. Island BBQ steamboat nama dia. dia actually macam Seoul Garden tu but then Melayu sikit. and simple and more to outdoor.

 kalau nak reserve tempat or sesat masa nak pergi boleh call number yang tertera :)

 yang ni raw food dia yang ada, termasuklah seafood tu

 buffet stylee

 dia boleh grill2 and boleh pilih nak sup tomyam or biasa :)

 i dunno why dalam gambar ni naqi nampak kurus sikit. haha! :P

owkay, dissert time! ice creams! haha kitorang makan dua cup seorang. best! :D

Cupcakes Porn

Assalamualaikum :D

haha i can help but laughing every time i read the title. i just saw it few minutes ago while browsing through the internet. anyway, ist not a porn of like what you guys are thinking right now, its cupcakes!

so this entry is filled with delicious looking cuppies. anyway i bet its not only look good but it should taste great you know. i baked myself a batch of cupcakes in the morn and was trying to bake Daim cuppies but it turned out bad. HAHA i was thinking of putting the recipes here but then it was a failure so i kept it only to myself lah. it did work out as vanilla cuppies for the rest as i only attempt on doing it on 1cupcake. :P

actually while baking today i thought of having my own bakery someday. specifically cupcakes store. he he he. i dont care about the amount of works but the thrill and satisfaction of baking and doing the decorations made me realised QS is a really boring course. seriously. i thought of this many many times as why i didnt just get into baking course and stuff like that? HAHA

so lets just feast our eyes with these cute and mouth waterings cuppies! :D

btw if you guys notice i prefer cuppies with frostings than fondant as i dont really like the chewy2 fondant and mostly they are really sweet! i do like to bake though i didnt really like to eat what i made or bake. haha.
